The Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i X 8MP 5.9-13mm PTRZ dome camera delivers 4K UHD surveillance performance with Bosch Starlight X low-light imaging, HDR X, IVA Pro analytics, remote PTRZ commissioning, and rugged outdoor protection. Available as NDE-8704-RX with standard clear bubble and NDE-8704-RX-H with hydrophilic bubble, this model is the highest-resolution camera in the FLEXIDOME 8100i X series and is ideal for applications requiring greater scene detail, wider forensic coverage, and high-performance fixed dome surveillance.
The 8MP model uses a larger 1/1.2" CMOS sensor and captures up to 3840 x 2160 resolution. Its 5.9-13mm motorized lens provides a flexible 110° to 48° horizontal field of view, making it suitable for wide-area surveillance, entrances, plazas, campuses, public spaces, transportation sites, government facilities, city surveillance, parking areas, retail environments, and critical infrastructure locations where 4K image detail is preferred.
Bosch IQsight Starlight X technology helps maintain strong image performance in low-light environments, while HDR X up to 128dB improves visibility in scenes with both bright and dark areas. The 8MP model provides high-resolution video detail while retaining the advanced imaging, analytics, remote setup, and rugged construction features of the FLEXIDOME 8100i X platform.
Remote PTRZ commissioning allows installers to remotely pan, tilt, roll, zoom, and focus the camera without opening the housing or physically adjusting the lens. This dramatically simplifies installation and later optimization, especially across multi-camera deployments or difficult-to-access mounting locations. The camera can be configured through Bosch Project Assistant, web interface, Configuration Manager, or compatible video management systems.
Integrated Bosch IQsight IVA Pro analytics provide deep-learning-based detection and classification of people and vehicles. Included analytics packages include IVA Pro Buildings, IVA Pro Perimeter, IVA Pro Privacy, and Camera Trainer, with optional licenses available for traffic, appearance search, PPE detection, license plate recognition, vehicle make/model, dangerous goods signs, visual gun detection, and intelligent audio analytics.
The Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i X 8MP camera is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor environments with an aluminum housing, clear polycarbonate bubble, IP66/IP67/IP6K9K weather protection, IK11 impact resistance, NEMA Type 4X protection, Electronic Image Stabilization, secure boot, signed firmware, TPM security, TLS 1.3 encryption, and dual microSD edge recording. The NDE-8704-RX-H hydrophilic bubble model is recommended for outdoor locations where rain and water behavior on the dome bubble are important for visibility.
