The Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i X 2MP 12-38mm PTRZ dome camera is designed for professional surveillance applications requiring tighter fields of view, longer scene reach, and precise remote commissioning. Available as NDE-8702-RXT with standard clear bubble and NDE-8702-RXT-H with hydrophilic bubble, this model combines Bosch Starlight X low-light performance, HDR X imaging, IVA Pro analytics, Electronic Image Stabilization, and rugged outdoor construction in a fixed dome form factor.
The 12-38mm motorized telephoto lens makes this version ideal for corridors, gates, parking entrances, perimeter choke points, drive lanes, approach roads, loading areas, transportation facilities, city surveillance, and applications where a narrow field of view or longer identification distance is preferred over wide-area coverage. Compared with the 4.4-10mm version, the 12-38mm model provides significantly stronger DORI reach for long-distance monitoring.
The 2MP Full HD imager delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution and Bosch IQsight Starlight X sensitivity for reliable low-light performance. HDR X technology provides up to 144dB dynamic range on this 2MP telephoto model, helping preserve detail in bright and dark areas while reducing unwanted motion artifacts common to traditional HDR imaging.
Remote PTRZ functionality allows installers and operators to pan, tilt, roll, zoom, and focus the camera remotely without opening the housing or touching the lens. This is especially valuable for telephoto applications where exact field-of-view alignment is critical. The camera can be commissioned using a PC, browser interface, Bosch Configuration Manager, or the Bosch Project Assistant app.
Integrated IVA Pro analytics provide deep-learning-based detection and classification of people and vehicles. IVA Pro Buildings, IVA Pro Perimeter, IVA Pro Privacy, and Camera Trainer are included, with additional optional analytics licenses available for traffic, appearance, PPE detection, license plate recognition, vehicle make/model, dangerous goods signs, visual gun detection, and intelligent audio analytics.

The NDE-8702-RXT-H hydrophilic bubble version is recommended where rain, moisture, or outdoor visibility through the bubble is a major consideration.
