The Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i X 2MP 4.4-10mm PTRZ dome camera is a high-performance outdoor IP security camera designed for demanding professional surveillance applications where low-light image quality, intelligent analytics, fast commissioning, and rugged reliability are essential. Available as NDE-8702-RX with standard clear bubble and NDE-8702-RX-H with hydrophilic bubble, this FLEXIDOME 8100i X model combines Bosch Starlight X imaging, HDR X wide dynamic range, remote PTRZ positioning, IVA Pro analytics, and rugged IP66/IP67/IP6K9K protection into a compact fixed dome platform.
The 2MP Full HD sensor delivers 1920 x 1080 video resolution with excellent low-light sensitivity, while the 4.4-10mm motorized lens provides a flexible wide-to-standard field of view for entrances, building perimeters, schools, retail spaces, transportation facilities, parking areas, government sites, and general outdoor security applications. The 4.4-10mm lens range is ideal when a broader scene view is required while still allowing installers to tighten the field of view for more focused coverage.
Bosch IQsight Starlight X technology improves low-light performance for detailed images in challenging lighting conditions, while HDR X helps preserve detail in both bright and dark areas of the scene with reduced motion blur and fewer HDR artifacts. The 2MP NDE-8702-RX and NDE-8702-RX-H models support HDR X performance up to 141dB, making them well suited for locations with strong backlighting, reflective surfaces, bright entrances, headlights, and mixed indoor/outdoor lighting.
Remote PTRZ commissioning allows installers to remotely pan, tilt, roll, zoom, and focus the camera using a PC, web interface, Configuration Manager, or Bosch Project Assistant app. This reduces ladder time, speeds up installation, and allows later adjustments without physically touching the camera or lens. The motorized zoom/focus design also helps maintain accurate focus and field-of-view adjustment during commissioning.
Integrated Bosch IQsight IVA Pro analytics bring deep-learning-based object detection and classification for people and vehicles, including IVA Pro Buildings, IVA Pro Perimeter, IVA Pro Privacy, and Camera Trainer. The camera supports advanced alarm rules such as line crossing, loitering, entering/leaving field, occupancy, people counting, crowd density estimation, flow/counter-flow, object classification, and forensic search workflows. Optional IVA Pro licenses can expand the camera for traffic, appearance search, PPE detection, license plate, vehicle make/model, dangerous goods signs, visual gun detection, and intelligent audio analytics.
Built for indoor and outdoor operation, the Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i X 2MP camera features a rugged aluminum housing, clear polycarbonate bubble, IK11 impact protection, IP66/IP67/IP6K9K weather resistance, NEMA Type 4X protection, and operation from -50°C to +60°C. The NDE-8702-RX-H hydrophilic bubble version is especially useful for outdoor locations where water behavior on the dome bubble is an important visibility factor.
