The Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i X 4MP 12-38mm PTRZ dome camera is built for professional surveillance applications requiring higher detail and longer-range optical coverage from a rugged fixed dome platform. Available as NDE-8703-RXT with standard clear bubble and NDE-8703-RXT-H with hydrophilic bubble, this model combines 4MP resolution, a 12-38mm telephoto lens, Bosch Starlight X, HDR X, IVA Pro analytics, Electronic Image Stabilization, and remote PTRZ commissioning.
The 12-38mm motorized lens provides a narrower field of view and stronger distance performance than the 4.4-10mm versions, making this camera ideal for gates, fence lines, drive lanes, loading areas, long corridors, parking entrances, perimeter checkpoints, transportation infrastructure, and other locations where a tighter image is needed. The 4MP sensor delivers more detail than 2MP models while the telephoto lens allows targeted surveillance over longer distances.
Bosch IQsight Starlight X technology helps maintain usable image detail in low-light scenes, while HDR X up to 141dB improves visibility in high-contrast environments. The camera is designed to capture usable video in areas affected by headlights, entrance lighting, glass reflections, shadows, backlighting, and changing outdoor light conditions.
Remote PTRZ commissioning simplifies installation by allowing pan, tilt, roll, zoom, and focus adjustments through the network without opening the camera. Installers can align the field of view using a PC, web interface, Configuration Manager, or Bosch Project Assistant app, making this model especially useful where physical access is difficult or future repositioning may be required.
Integrated Bosch IQsight IVA Pro analytics support intelligent detection, classification, tracking, counting, and forensic search. Included analytics packages include IVA Pro Buildings, IVA Pro Perimeter, IVA Pro Privacy, and Camera Trainer. Optional analytics licenses can expand capabilities for traffic, appearance search, PPE detection, license plate recognition, vehicle make/model, dangerous goods signs, visual gun detection, and intelligent audio analytics.
The FLEXIDOME 8100i X 4MP 12-38mm camera is protected by a rugged aluminum housing, clear polycarbonate bubble, IK11 impact rating, IP66/IP67/IP6K9K weather protection, NEMA Type 4X rating, secure boot, signed firmware, TPM hardware security, and dual microSD edge recording. The NDE-8703-RXT-H hydrophilic bubble model is recommended for outdoor installations where rain, water behavior, and dome visibility are key considerations.
