The Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i IR X 2MP 4.4-10mm PTRZ dome camera is a rugged outdoor IP security camera designed for demanding surveillance applications that require strong low-light performance, integrated IR illumination, intelligent analytics, and fast remote commissioning. Available as NDE-8702-RXL with standard clear bubble and NDE-8702-RXL-H with hydrophilic bubble, this FLEXIDOME 8100i IR X model combines Bosch Starlight X imaging, HDR X wide dynamic range, split IR illumination, remote PTRZ positioning, IVA Pro analytics, and rugged IP66/IP67/IP6K9K protection in a professional fixed dome platform.
The 2MP Full HD sensor delivers 1920 x 1080 video resolution with excellent low-light sensitivity, while the 4.4-10mm motorized lens provides a flexible wide-to-standard field of view for entrances, building perimeters, campuses, schools, retail spaces, parking areas, transportation facilities, city surveillance, and general outdoor security applications. The integrated 850nm split IR system provides intelligent infrared illumination up to 50m / 164ft, improving nighttime visibility while helping reduce overexposure and uneven IR coverage.
Bosch IQsight Starlight X technology improves image performance in challenging low-light conditions, while HDR X helps preserve details in both bright and dark areas of the scene without the motion blur and artifacts commonly associated with standard HDR technologies. The 2MP NDE-8702-RXL and NDE-8702-RXL-H models support HDR X performance up to 141dB, making them well suited for scenes with headlights, reflections, entrances, shadows, and mixed indoor/outdoor lighting.
Remote PTRZ commissioning allows installers to remotely pan, tilt, roll, zoom, and focus the camera using a PC, web interface, Bosch Configuration Manager, or Bosch Project Assistant app. This reduces ladder time, speeds up installation, and allows adjustments after installation without physically opening the camera or touching the lens. The motorized zoom/focus system helps ensure accurate field-of-view alignment and focus.
Integrated Bosch IQsight IVA Pro analytics bring deep-learning-based detection and classification of people and vehicles, including IVA Pro Buildings, IVA Pro Perimeter, IVA Pro Privacy, and Camera Trainer. The camera supports advanced alarm rules such as line crossing, loitering, entering/leaving field, occupancy, people counting, crowd density estimation, flow/counter-flow, object classification, and forensic search workflows. Optional IVA Pro licenses can expand analytics for traffic, appearance search, PPE detection, license plate recognition, vehicle make/model detection, dangerous goods signs, visual gun detection, and intelligent audio analytics.
Built for indoor and outdoor operation, the Bosch IQsight FLEXIDOME 8100i IR X 2MP camera features a rugged aluminum housing, clear polycarbonate bubble, IK11 impact protection, IP66/IP67/IP6K9K weather resistance, NEMA Type 4X protection, dual microSD edge recording, built-in microphone, secure boot, signed firmware, TPM security, and operation from -50°C to +60°C. The NDE-8702-RXL-H hydrophilic bubble version is recommended for outdoor locations where rain and water behavior on the dome bubble are important for clear viewing.
