The Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8701-F06VF is a high-resolution VGA thermal bullet IP camera designed for wide-area thermal detection and perimeter surveillance in mission-critical outdoor environments. With 640 x 480 thermal resolution, 30Hz imaging, IVA Pro Perimeter, rugged construction, and strong cybersecurity, the NBT-8701-F06VF is suited for sites that need better thermal image detail than QVGA models while retaining a wide field of view.
This NBT-8701-F06VF model uses a 6mm fixed athermalized lens with a 70° horizontal field of view and 53° vertical field of view. It is the widest VGA model in the DINION thermal 8100i family, making it ideal for broad scene coverage around perimeters, industrial facilities, utilities, transportation sites, critical infrastructure, open yards, parking areas, and exterior approaches.
The 640 x 480 VGA thermal sensor uses uncooled VOx microbolometer technology with 12μm pixel pitch, 8μm to 14μm spectral range, and <30mK NETD sensitivity. Built-in IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter provide intelligent object detection and tracking for person, bike, car, and truck classes, helping detect intrusions while reducing nuisance alarms caused by rain, wind, vegetation, shadows, reflections, and small animals.
Maximum IVA Pro Perimeter detection range for the 70° VGA lens is approximately 77m / 253ft for upright persons, 46m / 151ft for crawling persons, and 138m / 453ft for frontal vehicles under optimal conditions. The camera supports H.265/H.264/M-JPEG compression, four configurable streams, 12 thermal color modes, dual microSD recording, alarm I/O, audio I/O, fiber media converter support, and ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M.
