Description

The Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8700-F05QF is a QVGA thermal bullet IP camera designed for perimeter detection, outdoor intrusion monitoring, and 24/7 thermal surveillance without relying on visible light. The NBT-8700-F05QF uses heat-based imaging to identify people, vehicles, and objects in darkness, fog, smoke, glare, and visually complex environments where standard visible-light cameras may struggle.

This model uses a 5mm fixed athermalized thermal lens with a 45° horizontal field of view and 34° vertical field of view. It provides a balanced QVGA thermal view for medium-width perimeter scenes, making it well suited for fence lines, gates, building perimeters, substations, utility yards, transportation areas, industrial sites, and outdoor security zones where users need more reach than the 80° model but wider coverage than the 24° or 12° models.

The NBT-8700-F05QF captures 320 x 240 QVGA thermal video at up to 30Hz using an uncooled VOx microbolometer with <30mK NETD sensitivity. Built-in IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter provide deep-learning-based object detection and classification for person, bike, car, and truck classes. These analytics help reduce false alarms from rain, wind, vegetation, shadows, reflections, and small animals.

Maximum IVA Pro Perimeter detection range for the 45° QVGA lens is approximately 64m / 210ft for upright persons, 38m / 125ft for crawling persons, and 115m / 377ft for frontal vehicles under optimal conditions. The camera supports H.265 compression, four configurable streams, 12 thermal color modes, dual microSD recording, RJ45 and punch-down Ethernet, alarm I/O, audio I/O, TPM cybersecurity, signed firmware, secure boot, and ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M.
