The Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8700-F09QF is a QVGA thermal bullet IP camera designed for longer perimeter detection than the wider QVGA models while maintaining reliable thermal performance in darkness, fog, smoke, glare, shadows, and harsh outdoor environments. By detecting heat signatures instead of visible light, the NBT-8700-F09QF supports dependable 24/7 intrusion detection for critical security applications.
This model uses a 9mm fixed athermalized thermal lens with a 24° horizontal field of view and 18° vertical field of view. It is a strong choice for longer fence lines, perimeter lanes, restricted zones, utility sites, transportation corridors, industrial yards, remote gates, and infrastructure applications where a narrower QVGA thermal view is preferred for increased detection distance.
The NBT-8700-F09QF uses a 320 x 240 thermal sensor with 30Hz frame rate, 12μm pixel pitch, and <30mK NETD sensitivity. Built-in IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter provide intelligent detection and tracking of persons, bikes, cars, and trucks, helping reduce false alarms in environments affected by rain, wind, vegetation, reflections, and small animals.
Maximum IVA Pro Perimeter detection range for the 24° QVGA lens is approximately 124m / 407ft for upright persons, 75m / 246ft for crawling persons, and 224m / 735ft for frontal vehicles under optimal conditions. The camera includes H.265/H.264/M-JPEG compression, four configurable streams, thermal color mapping, dual microSD recording, audio I/O, alarm I/O, USB-C wireless commissioning, optional fiber support, ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M, TPM cybersecurity, and NDAA/TAA compliance.
