Description
The Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8701-F25VF is a long-range VGA thermal bullet IP camera designed for professional perimeter intrusion detection and mission-critical outdoor surveillance. With a 25mm fixed athermalized lens, 640 x 480 VGA thermal imaging, IVA Pro Perimeter, and rugged construction, the NBT-8701-F25VF is built for applications where detection distance is more important than wide scene coverage.
This model provides a 17° horizontal field of view and 13° vertical field of view, making it suitable for long fence lines, roadway monitoring, industrial sites, critical infrastructure, utility corridors, transportation perimeters, border-style perimeter views, and remote gates. The thermal imager detects heat signatures in zero lux conditions and remains effective where visible-light cameras may be impacted by smoke, fog, darkness, glare, headlights, or shadows.
The NBT-8701-F25VF captures 640 x 480 thermal video at up to 30Hz with an uncooled VOx microbolometer, 12μm pixel pitch, and <30mK NETD sensitivity. IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter support object detection and classification for persons, bikes, cars, and trucks, with map-based, measurement-based, and AI-based autocalibration.
Maximum IVA Pro Perimeter detection range for the 17° VGA lens is approximately 353m / 1158ft for upright persons, 207m / 679ft for crawling persons, and 622m / 2041ft for frontal vehicles under optimal conditions. The camera also includes H.265 compression, four configurable streams, 12 thermal color modes, dual microSD recording, RJ45 and punch-down Ethernet, audio I/O, alarm I/O, optional fiber support, ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M, TPM cybersecurity, signed firmware, and secure boot.
The Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8701-F25VF is housed in an aluminum outdoor enclosure with germanium glass window, automatic window defroster, automatic interior heater, IP66/IP67 protection, IK10 impact protection excluding front window, UL50 Type 4X protection, -40°C to +55°C operation, and NDAA/TAA compliance.
