Description
The Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8700-F03QF is a QVGA thermal bullet IP camera designed for wide-area thermal detection in mission-critical outdoor surveillance applications. Using thermal imaging rather than visible light, the NBT-8700-F03QF detects heat signatures from people, vehicles, and objects, making it effective in complete darkness, smoke, fog, glare, shadows, and challenging perimeter environments.
This NBT-8700-F03QF model features a 3mm fixed athermalized lens with an 80° horizontal field of view and 58° vertical field of view, making it the widest QVGA lens option in the DINION thermal 8100i family. It is best suited for shorter-range, wide-area perimeter coverage, entrances, fence lines, open yards, industrial facilities, utility sites, parking areas, and other locations where broad thermal awareness is more important than long-distance reach.
The QVGA thermal sensor captures 320 x 240 thermal video at up to 30Hz with a 12μm pixel pitch and <30mK NETD sensitivity. The NBT-8700-F03QF supports IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter, enabling intelligent detection and tracking of persons, bikes, cars, and trucks while reducing false alarms caused by rain, wind, moving trees, reflections, shadows, and small animals.
Maximum IVA Pro Perimeter detection range for the 80° QVGA lens is approximately 32m / 105ft for upright persons, 19m / 62ft for crawling persons, and 58m / 190ft for frontal vehicles under optimal conditions. The camera also supports H.265/H.264/M-JPEG compression, four configurable video streams, thermal color mapping, dual microSD recording, audio I/O, alarm I/O, USB-C wireless commissioning, and fiber support via optional media converter.
Built for rugged outdoor use, the Bosch IQsight DINION thermal 8100i NBT-8700-F03QF includes IP66/IP67 weather protection, IK10 impact resistance, UL50 Type 4X protection, aluminum housing with dehumidifying membrane, automatic interior heater, -40°C to +55°C operating range, PoE or auxiliary power, TPM cybersecurity, TLS encryption, signed firmware, secure boot, ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M, and NDAA/TAA compliance.
