The ALX-SG6P-IR Vandal-Proof IR Illuminator is a compact, PoE-powered infrared lighting device designed for advanced IP surveillance camera systems. It maintains the same rugged protection as other models in the line, with an IK10-rated housing and IP66-certified weatherproof construction to withstand harsh outdoor environments and potential vandalism. This model is ideal for integration with network security cameras, especially where cable management or centralized power is desired.
Each ALX-SG6P-IR unit is available in specific model variants, offering fixed beam angles from 15° to 120° and IR wavelength options in 850nm (semi-covert) or 940nm (covert). Unlike universal products, these tailored versions ensure optimal lighting for specific scene types—from long corridor monitoring to general area illumination. The unit draws power via IEEE 802.3af PoE, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for separate power lines.
With a high-efficiency 6-LED IR array and adjustable output power up to 10W, the illuminator supports lighting distances up to 80 meters at 850nm. It features an integrated photocell for automatic night activation and includes a weather-sealed RJ45 jack with Cat5e cable for secure, easy power connection.
