The ALX-SG12-IR Vandal-Proof IR Illuminator is a high-output infrared light source built to meet the needs of large-scale surveillance environments. This model houses twelve high-powered IR LEDs within a durable aluminum housing rated IK10 for impact resistance and IP66 for all-weather use. It is ideal for commercial, industrial, or municipal security deployments that require extended range and uniform illumination.
Like others in the series, the ALX-SG12-IR is produced in fixed model configurations. Available beam angles range from 15° for long-distance targeting to 120° for area-wide illumination. Infrared wavelengths include 850nm semi-covert and 940nm fully covert options, allowing integrators to tailor lighting to privacy or performance demands. Control options include photocell auto-activation or adjustable I/O-triggered operation versions.
Lighting range varies by beam and wavelength combination, reaching up to 150 meters in narrow-angle 850nm versions. Power output is adjustable up to 18W, and its thermal-efficient design ensures consistent IR performance over extended usage. With a vandal-proof PC panel and weather-resistant finish, the ALX-SG12-IR serves a wide range of IR lighting needs—enhancing visibility for both IP and analog camera systems.
