The ALX-SG122-IR Vandal-Proof IR Illuminator is engineered for mid to long-range infrared lighting, providing surveillance-grade illumination to security cameras during low-light or complete darkness. It features a durable IK10 vandal-resistant aluminum housing and IP66-rated environmental protection, making it a reliable choice for outdoor and industrial security camera installations.
This model is offered in fixed configurations with light beam angles from 15° to 180° and 850nm or 940nm infrared wavelength options. By featuring dual LED array, the device allows some adjustability between its degree of spread versus its range. At 850nm, the ALX-SG122-IR delivers IR distances up to 250 meters in narrow-angle mode. Each unit includes 24 high-power infrared LEDs and supports adjustable brightness via current control. The illuminator is automatically activated with a built-in day/night sensor for hand-free operation.
The ALX-SG122-IR supports a range of applications including perimeter protection, critical infrastructure, parking zones, and large open areas. With vandal-resistant polycarbonate panels and optimized thermal management, this illuminator ensures stable, long-lasting IR output over its 50,000-hour rated life. It comes complete with a wall-mount bracket and compact design for streamlined installation.
