Vivotek VS8801 IP Encoder is delivers real-time H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG, Triple Codecs Compression formats, to reduce the size of files and retain usable bandwith and storage space. Vivotek VS8801 8 channel video server supports a single stream to be transmitted in one of the three compression formats which has the ability to be configured with different frame rates, resolution, and image qualities to meet different platforms or bandwith needs. Vivotek VS8801 Video server is packed with features as motion and tamper detection, two way audio, eight channel digital I/O for enternal sensor and alarms. The Vivotek VS8801 is made with a professional rack mount design for your server rack needs with a high tech Giga LAN for large transmission needs and compatible DC 12V / AC 24V power input design. Also inculded is a RS-485 Interface for PTZ camera controls devices and protocols as  DynaDome / SmartDome, Pelco D, LiLin, Pelco P, Samsung scc643, and customized types. Supports CGI command serial driver.
