VIVOTEK SD8316E Speed Dome Network Camera offers full D1 resolution with crisp image quality is part of the SUPREME series product line of Vivotek. The VIVOTEK SD8316E is a D1 resolution PTZ with 36x Zoom NEMA x4 and very tough IP66 Extreme Weatherproof housing with PoE Plus. The PTZ has the D1 SONY Exview HAD CCD Sensor 1/4" Progressive CMOS with a 36x optical zoom lens, teamed up with Auto Focus and Auto-iris features with a D1 resolution of 720 x 480 at up to 60 frames per second and up to 30 frames per second in WDR Pro Technology mode. The IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated housing protects the camera body against rain; dust and strong winds within a wide temperature range of between -40 Fahrenheit to 131 Fahrenheit. Under extreme weather conditions and hazardous environments, it is suitable to watch open highways, parking lots or small airports.
The VIVOTEK SD8316E PTZ x36 IP camera supports high-performance H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology and offers extra smooth video quality with speeds up to 60 frames per second @ D1 resolution. The WDR Pro Technology that can also cope with difficult lighting conditions and produce image quality close to the capabilities of the human eye. As with most Vivotek PTZ cameras it has a sophisticated pan/tilt mechanism, the camera provides fast, accurate movement with continuous 360-degree pan and 220-degree tilt. Vivotek users can also control the lens position by their mouse or a joystick to track the objects of interest and set up to a massive 256 preset positions for self-patrolling with the built-in auto tracking feature for even better protection. The SD8316E features a removable IR-cut filter, maintaining clear images 24 hours a day. An additional layer of intrusion detection is with audio detection, by recognizing increases or decreases in sound volume.
